Ingredients

  • 1 bunch - coriander
  • 2 tbsp - chutney dal
  • 4 - 5 green chillies
  • 1/2 tsp - coriander seeds
  • 1/4 tsp - cumin seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 tbsp - oil
  • Mustard seeds
  • Curry leaves
  • 1 tsp - urad dhal
  • Garlic pods - 7 or 8

How to Make Coriander Podi

  • Wash and chop coriander.
  • Grind chutney dal, coriander seeds and cumin seeds into fine powder. Add the coriander and green chillies.
  • Grind this mixture for about a minute without water.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, curry leaves, and urad dal.
  • Add garlic and fry until urad dal turns light brown.
  • Add the mixture of coriander and green chillies to the oil and mix. Add salt
  • Fry the mixture for about 3 to 4 minutes until dry.
