  • 6 - slices of bread
  • 1 cup - corn kernels, boiled
  • 1 cup - white sauce
  • 2 tbsp - tomato ketchup
  • 1 - onion, finely chopped
  • 7 to 8 - garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp - butter
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste.
  • Celery leaves for garnishing
  • Mozzarella cheese

How to Make Corn Toast

  • Prepare the white sauce with milk and corn flour.
  • In a kadhai, put some butter and when it melts, add the onions and garlic and fry till golden brown.
  • Let cool. Then add the white sauce to it.
  • Add the tomato ketchup, chilli powder, salt, pepper, and boiled corn.
  • Pre-heat oven. Apply butter to one side of the bread. Put the butter side down on an aluminium baking tray.
  • Spread the corn mixture on the bread and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and celery. Bake in the moderately hot oven till the cheese turns golden brown.
