  • 6-8 - medium-sized crabs (or 5 big ones), cleaned and shelled
  • 2 - big onions, sliced finely
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • 2 tsp - chilli powder
  • 2 tsp - ginger-garlic paste
  • salt to taste
  • 3 tbsp - oil
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - cumin powder
  • 1 cup - coconut paste or coconut milk
  • 2 - tomatoes, chopped finely

How to Make Crabs In Coconut Milk Curry

  • Wash the crabs and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan and saute the onions and ginger-garlic paste for some time.
  • Add the chopped tomatoes, chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt and a little water and fry until the mixture separates from the oil.
  • Add the crabs, coconut milk and mix well.
  • Cover and cook on low heat for about 10 minutes until dry.
  • Serve with bread or rice.
