  • 1 can (14 oz) creamy chocolate sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup - water
  • 1 tbsp - corn starch
  • 3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
  • 2 tbsp - margarine or butter
  • 1/2 tsp - vanilla extract
  • 1 pkg (6 oz) pie crust
  • whipped topping or whipped cream

How to Make Creamy Chocolate Pie

  • Stir together water and cornstarch. Keep aside.
  • In sauce pan, combine sweetened condensed milk, egg yolks and stir in cornstarch mixture.
  • Cook over medium-low heat, stirring constantly until thick and bubbly for about 12-15 minutes.
  • Remove from heat, stir in butter or margarine and vanilla.
  • Spoon into pie crust.
  • Chill 3 hours or until set.
  • Top with whipped topping.
