Ingredients

  • Rice (raw) - 1 cup
  • Yogurt - 4 cups
  • Milk - 1/2 cup
  • Dry red chilli - 2
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp -
  • Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp -
  • Cucumber - a small one
  • Seedless grapes - 1/2 cup
  • Pomegranate - 1/2
  • salt to taste

How to Make Curd Rice with Fruits

  • Cook rice and cool it.
  • Grate cucumber.
  • Chop grapes into fine pieces.
  • Remove seeds from pomegranate. Keep them aside.
  • Add yogurt and milk into the rice; mix well.
  • Heat 1 teaspoon of oil in a pan and add cumin, mustard seeds, and red chillies.
  • When the seeds pop, remove from heat and add them to the curd-rice mix.
  • Add all the fruits to curd-rice and some salt to taste. Mix well and serve.
