Ingredients

  • 250 g - beaten rice, thin poha
  • 1 cup - shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup - roasted peanuts
  • 10 - chillies, chopped
  • 1 tbsp - lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup - coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp - sugar
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • 1 tsp - mustard seeds
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Dadpe Pohe

  • In a mixing bowl, sprinkle water on the poha and mix well.
  • Add coconut, peanuts, lemon juice, sugar and salt.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds.
  • After the seeds crackle, add chillies.
  • Pour this oil (tadka) on the poha and mix well.
  • Garnish it with coriander leaves.
  • Keep the poha in a container covered with a tight lid for about half an hour to ensure they are soft before serving.
