Ingredients

  • 1 kg - echor (raw jackfruit, cut into big size and boiled)
  • 200 g - curd
  • 10 g - cumin powder
  • 50 g - oil
  • 2 tbsp - green chilli paste
  • Salt
  • Sugar to taste
  • 1 tsp - garam masala powder
  • Tomato, cucumber slices for garnishing

How to Make Dahi Echor

  • Take curd in a bowl, mix a small quantity of salt and sugar.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan, fry garam masala powder in the oil. Add boiled echor and fry till it turns golden in colour
  • Then add cumin powder, chilli paste, salt and sugar to taste and curd and mix well.
  • When the oil separates, add some water and cook for some time.
  • Turn off flame when the mixture thickens and serve
