Ingredients

  • 500 g - chicken
  • Small methi leaves, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp - green chilli paste
  • 5 tbsp - thick beaten curd
  • 1 tsp - garam masala powder
  • 1 tsp - shajeera
  • 1/4 tsp - cinnamon
  • 1 tsp - bay leaf
  • 1 finely chopped, onion
  • 1 tsp - ginger garlic paste

How to Make Dahi Methi Ka Murg

  • In a heavy bottomed pan, heat oil; add shahjeera, cinnamon sticks, bay leaf.
  • Allow them to splutter, add onions and fry till onions turn pink.
  • Add methi leaves and fry; then add green chilly paste, ginger-garlic paste, salt and fry till oil separates.
  • Add chicken and cook until it is tender. Remove from heat and curd.
  • Put the vessel back on flame and cook until done.
  • Serve with steamed rice.
