Ingredients

  • 8 - parwal (whole)
  • 3 - bay leaf
  • 2 - red chilli, whole
  • 2 tsp - ginger paste
  • 2 tsp - corn flour
  • 1 tsp - sugar
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1 tsp - cumin seeds powder
  • 1/2 tsp - fresh curd
  • 1 tsp - ghee
  • 1 tsp - garam masala powder
  • 1/2 cup - water
  • Salt as per taste

How to Make Dahi Parwal

  • Wash the parwal and shallow fry till half cooked.
  • Add oil in a pan and put cumin seeds, bay leaf and whole red chilli into it.
  • Add ginger paste, salt, sugar, cumin and coriander powder with 1/2 cup of water.
  • When it starts boiling, add parwal and cook.
  • Add curd and corn flour into it.
  • Garnish with ghee and garam masala powder.
  • Serve hot with rice, roti or paratha
