Ingredients

  • 2 - potato
  • 1 cup - curd
  • 2 tbsp - cream
  • 6 tbsp - oil
  • 1/2 tbsp - turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tbsp - cumin seed
  • 1/2 tbsp - coriander powder
  • 1/2 tbsp - garam masala
  • Pinch - asafoetida
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves to garnish.

How to Make Dahi Wale Aloo

  • Cut each potatoes into 8 small pieces.
  • Heat oil in a deep pan, add cut potatoes and fry them till they turn light brown on low flame and keep aside.
  • Add turmeric powder, cumin seeds, asafoetida, coriander powder into the same oil.
  • Then add curds. After adding curds stir well for 1 to 2 min and add salt. When it start boiling add fried potato and cream.
  • Keep them on low flame for 5 minutes.
  • Add garam masala.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
