  • 2 tbsp - cooking oil
  • 1.5 cup - toor dal
  • 1 cup - black gram
  • 1 tbsp - cooking oil
  • 200 gm - chillies
  • 1 tsp - asafetida
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Dal Chutney Powder

  • Fry the dals in 2 tbsp oil for five mins and keep aside.
  • Add one more tbsp oil to the pan and add the chillies.
  • When brown, add asafoetida and saute. Then remove and cool.
  • Once cool, add salt and grind everything coarsely in a mixer.
