Ingredients

  • Harad dal - 100 g
  • Brinjal - 1
  • Carrot - 1
  • Ginger - 1tsp
  • Beans - 50 g
  • 1 - tomato, chopped
  • Any green vegetable except karela
  • Refined oil - 1tsp
  • Cumin powder - 1tsp

How to Make Dalma Oriyali

  • Pressure-cook all the vegetables and dal with tomato and ginger.
  • After 5 to 7 minutes lower the flame. Cook for another 2 mins. Then remove from flame.
  • Heat some oil and add cumin seeds. Let the seeds crackle.
  • Add all boiled vegetables and heat through.
  • For garnishing, use lots of coriander leaves and roasted cumin powder.
