  • 5 - ladies finger (bhindi)
  • 1 cup - finely sliced onion
  • 2 - tomatoes
  • 1 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - ginger paste
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • A pinch - asafoetida
  • Salt - to taste
  • Oil - 2 tbsp

How to Make Deep Fried Bhindi Masala

  • Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a kadai and saute the onions.
  • Put the tomatoes in boiling water for 10 minutes. Peel off the skin and cut them into fine pieces.
  • Add the tomatoes and other masala to the sauteed onions.
  • Cut the bhindis into thin long pieces and deep fry them.
  • Now add the bhindis to the mixture and cook for 5-10 minutes.
