  • 800 gms. Boneless chicken cubes
  • 4 cardamoms
  • 1” cinnamon
  • 5 cloves
  • 5 tbsp. oil
  • 1 tsp. red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp. coriander powder
  • ¼ tsp. turmeric
  • Salt to taste
  • 6 tsp. ginger garlic paste
  • 200 gms. Curd
  • 15 gms. Coriander leaves
  • ¼ cup cashewnuts, deep fried and ground
  • ¼ cup onion paste, browned
  • Prepare 1 ¼ cups stock with chicken cubes

How to Make Dhania Murg

  • Put oil in a saucepan, add whole cardamoms, cloves and cinnamon. When it starts crackling, add ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, coriander, salt, chicken and curd.
  • Stir well, add stock, a little at a time, till chicken is tender. Remove chicken pieces, add more stock to gravy, cashewnuts and fresh coriander.
  • Cook till sauce consistency forms. Then liquidize, return to pan, make up to required consistency and add chicken pieces.
