Ingredients

  • 1 - doodhi (medium sized)
  • 1 - onion
  • 1 - tomato
  • Mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp - jeera powder
  • 1/2 tsp - chilli powder
  • Turmeric powder - a pinch
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Doodhi Curry

  • Saute onions after spluttering mustard in oil.
  • Add tomatoes and fry for 5 mins.
  • Add the chopped doodhi and the masala powders and salt and let it cook for 25-30 minutes over slow fire after adding 1/2 glass water.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves when done.
