Ingredients

  • 100 g - parboiled rice
  • 100 g - raw rice
  • 50 g - urad dal
  • 1 tsp - fenugreek seeds
  • salt to taste
  • 100 ml - oil

How to Make Dosai

  • Soak the ingredients in water for about 2-3 hours. Grind (adding water in steps) into a very fine batter.
  • Add salt and keep aside for about 12 hours (until it gets sour).
  • Heat a tawa and smear with a little oil.
  • Spread some batter in a round shape and shallow-fry.
  • Turn over so that both the sides are well cooked.
