Ingredients

  • Raw Rice 2 cups
  • Red Gram Dhal 1 cup
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Curry Leaves few
  • Red Chillies 8
  • Onion 1 chopped
  • Asafetida little
  • Salt to taste
  • Drumstick Leaves 1 cup
  • Oil for frying

How to Make Drumstick Leaf Adai

  • Soak rice for 2 hours and dhal separately for an hour.
  • Grind them together with chillies, cumin, curry leaves, and onion till coarse rawa consistency.
  • Add salt and mix drumstick leaves. (do not chop)
  • Heat a tawa and make adai and fry adding enough oil.
