  • 2 - Tender drumsticks cut to finger length
  • 1 cup - onions
  • Handful - soya chunks
  • 3 - green chillies
  • 1 spring - curry leaves
  • 1/4 tsp - mustard
  • 1/4 tsp - cumin
  • 1/8 tsp - turmeric
  • 60 ml - milk
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as needed.

How to Make Drumsticks soya chunks curry

  • Boil 2 cups of water, soak soya chunks for about an hour
  • Squeeze out the water
  • Heat a pan with 1 tbsp oil, fry soya in the oil for about 3 to 4 mins on a medium flame, drain and keep aside
  • Heat a pan with some more oil, add curry leaves, green chillies, mustard and cumin, saute till the green chillies are fried well, for about 2 mins
  • Add onions, sprinkle salt and fry till they turn translucent
  • Add the drumsticks, fry for 2 to 3 mins on a medium flame
  • Add turmeric and pour required amount of water.
  • Cover and cook till the drumsticks are half cooked
  • Add the fried soya chunks, add salt and cook without covering till the drumsticks are cooked fully and the moisture is absorbed.
  • Simmer the flame pour milk and when it starts to bubble, switch off the heat.
