Ingredients

  • 1 kg - broiler chicken (cut into medium-sized pieces)
  • 4 to 5 - tomatoes (finely chopped)
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • 6 to 8 - Kashmiri chillies
  • a few peppercorns
  • 2 - cinnamons (small)
  • a few strands of saffron
  • 1 tsp - cumin seed powder
  • salt to taste

How to Make Dry Chicken

  • Clean and wash the chicken pieces.
  • Heat oil in a non-stick pan.
  • Add the chillies, peppercorns and cinnamons.
  • Saute the spices for a few seconds.
  • Add the chicken pieces along with saffron and cumin seed powder.
  • Add salt and mix well.
  • Add tomatoes and mix well.
  • Cook on low flame until the chicken becomes tender and dry.
  • Serve hot.
