Ingredients

  • 4-5 -firm thick raw bananas
  • salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp - turmeric powder
  • oil to deep fry

How to Make Easy Banana chips

  • Peel the skin and put bananas in plenty of salted ice water. Slice bananas with a chip slicer into water, add in turmeric.
  • Keep for 10 minutes, drain out water fully.
  • Spread out on a kitchen cloth to remove moisture.
  • Heat oil till smoky.
  • Add some chips at a time, deep fry till almost crisp.
  • Make a paste of 1/4 tsp. salt and 1/2 tsp. water.
  • Add t his to the chips to make it more crispy.
  • This process need be repeat after 2-3 rounds only.
  • Repeat for remaining chips.
