Ingredients

  • 1 cup - beetroot, grated
  • 1/2 cup - urad dal
  • 1/2 cup - coconut, grated
  • 4 - red chillies
  • Tamarind - lemon size
  • 3 flakes - garlic
  • Curry leaves - a few
  • Salt to taste.

How to Make Easy Beetroot chutney

  • In a little oil, saute urad dal till golden brown, add curry leaves, red chillies and garlic.
  • Add beetroot and saute well till cooked.
  • Now add coconut and saute for 2 mins and grind with tamarind and salt to make thick chutney.
