  • Grated beetroot - 3 cups
  • Milk - 2.5 cups
  • Sugar - 1-2 cups or to taste
  • Cashews, Ghee, Elaichi (Cardamom) powder

How to Make Easy Beetroot Halwa

  • Pressure cook the grated beetroot with milk for 2 whistles.
  • Meanwhile, take a wide pan and add sugar with a little water. Heat it.
  • When all the sugar melts, add the cooked beetroot and keep stirring until it hardens to your liking.
  • Then add ghee and elaichi powder (according to taste) to it and mix well.
  • Fry cashew nuts in ghee and spread it on top.
