  • 100 gms. ginger
  • 100 gms. garlic
  • 150 gms. green chillies
  • 30 gms. turmeric
  • 250 gms. tomato sauce
  • 5 gms. pepper powder
  • 6 lemons
  • 60 ml. rum
  • 50 ml. oil
  • 50 ml. coconut vinegar

How to Make Easy Chicken Cafreal

  • Make a paste of ginger, garlic and chillies.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients and mix together.
  • Coat chicken with the above paste and set it aside for 1 ½ hours.
  • Cook it in an oven for 20 min at 250 degrees C.
  • Remove, turn it and cook for 15-20 mins. more.
  • Cut chicken and sauté it in oil. Add rum when it is hot and cook.
  • Garnish with sliced sautéed potatoes, onions and tomatoes cooked in the same gravy.
