Ingredients

  • Urud dal - 1 cup
  • Green chillie - 3
  • Ginger - 2 small pieces
  • Curd - 4 cup
  • Rai - 1 tsp
  • Green chilli paste - 2 tsp
  • Oil - 6 tbs
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves

How to Make Easy Curd Vada

  • Soak urad dal with green chillies and ginger for 4-5 hours.
  • Then drain the water and add the contents (with salt) in a blender and blend it till it becomes into a coarse paste
  • Beat the curd in a bowl, and add green chilli paste and salt. Beat again.
  • Heat oil for deep frying, form balls from the batter and fry till golden brown.
  • Immediately put the vadas into the curd.
  • Take another pan, heat 2 tsp of oil and add mustard. When it splutters, add it to the curd.
  • Add coriander leaves for garnishing.
