Ingredients

  • Grated coconut - 1 cup
  • Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  • Ginger - 1 tbsp, thinly sliced
  • Green chillies - 3, chopped
  • Onion - 1/2 cup, chopped
  • Curd - 1 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • For Seasoning:
  • Oil - 1 tbsp
  • Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Onion - 1/2 cup, finely chopped
  • Green chilli - 1, finely chopped
  • Curry leaves - a few sprigs.

How to Make Easy Ginger Pachadi

  • Grind coconut with mustard seeds to a smooth paste.
  • Mix green chillies with onion and ginger and add 1/2 cup of water and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Beat the curd till smooth. Add coconut paste, boiled ingredients and salt.
  • Heat oil and splutter mustard, add onion and green chillies.
  • Fry till onion is light brown and add curry leaves. Add the seasoning to the pachadi.
  • Serve.
