Ingredients

  • 500 chicken cleaned and cut into medium sized pieces
  • 50-100 g - methi/fenugreek leaves finely chopped
  • 1-2 tbsp - ginger finely sliced or ground to a paste
  • Oil
  • 3 green chillies, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp - red chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - cumin

How to Make Easy methi ginger chicken

  • In a wok, heat oil, add cumin and allow to splutter
  • Add ginger and fry for some time.
  • Add chopped methi/fenugreek leaves and fry till oil separates.
  • Add chicken and fry until water evaporates
  • Add chilli powder, turmeric and salt.
  • Cook the entire mixture for 10-15 minutes.
  • Add water to make gravy and cook until done.
