Ingredients

  • Eggs - 5
  • onion - 2, medium
  • green chilly - 3, medium
  • yoghurt - 1/2 cup
  • garam masala - 1/2 tsp (curry powder)
  • fennel seeds - 1/4 tsp
  • turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  • coriander leaves - 1 tsp, chopped
  • oil for frying
  • salt to taste

How to Make Egg Gravy

  • Chop onions into medium sized pieces and cut green chillies vertically.
  • Boil the eggs and remove the shells.
  • Make small, shallow slits on the eggs.
  • Heat oil, add green chillies and funnel seeds.
  • Add onions and fry until it becomes golden brown. (Adding salt now will fry the onion quickly).
  • Add chopped coriander leaves and fry for 2 minutes.
  • To this, add turmeric, salt and yogurt.
  • Mix well and add boiled eggs to this.
  • Cook until it becomes a thick gravy. Add garam masala.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
  • Serve with Chapatti.
