  • Vermicelli - 2 cup
  • Eggs - 3
  • Onion, chopped - 1
  • Green chilli - 2
  • Cooking oil - 2 tbsp
  • Red chilli - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric - a pinch
  • Water - 1.5 glass
  • Coriander for garnishing
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Egg Vermicelli

  • In a frying pan, heat the oil and fry the chopped onions till they become tender.
  • Put the chopped green chillies and fry for one more minute
  • Put the salt, chilli powder and turmeric. Fry for 2 more mins
  • Beat the eggs and put them in the pan
  • Mix well. Cover and cook for 3 to 4 mins, stirring occasionally.
  • Now, put the water and bring to a boil
  • Put the vermicelli. Cover and cook till the vermicelli is done, stirring occasionally.
  • When all the water evaporates and oil starts to leave the sides of the pan, garnish with coriander
  • Serve hot with tomato ketchup
