  • 1 cup - All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup - Yellow cornmeal
  • 1/2 cup - Almond meal
  • 1/2 cup - Butter (softened)
  • 1 cup - Sugar
  • A few whole almonds
  • Milk (as per need)

How to Make Eggless Cornmeal Almond Cookies

  • Pre-heat the oven to 350 degree F.
  • Beat the butter and sugar together until they turn soft.
  • Add the flour, cornmeal and almond meal to the butter-sugar mixture and mix them with your fingers to knead it.
  • If you still can't make a ball, sprinkle some milk and make the ball.
  • Roll medium-sized balls and flatten them slightly.
  • Place it over the baking tray lined with a baking sheet.
  • Leave enough space between the cookies.
  • Press an almond in the centre of each cookies and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  • Let it cool completely.
  • Don't remove the cookies from the baking sheet once you take them out of the oven. They may break.
  • Enjoy with your favourite drink.
