  • 1 cup - All-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup - Yellow cornmeal
  • 1/4 cup - Oatmeal
  • 3 tsp - Egg replacer powder +4tbsp warm water
  • 3/4 cup - Canola oil
  • 1/2 cup - Sugar
  • 1/4 cup - Lion's Date syrup
  • 1/4 cup - Maple Syrup
  • 1 tsp - Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 cup - Grated apple
  • A few apple cubes
  • 2 tbsp - Sugar powder

How to Make Eggless Dates and Apple Cake

  • Preheat the oven at 350 degree F. Beat oil, sugar, date syrup and maple syrup together for a while. Make a thick paste with egg replacer powder and warm water and add them too.
  • Beat everything well, mix the flour, oatmeal and cornmeal together and keep aside.
  • Add the mixed flours with the baking powder and cinnamon powder to the oil and sugar and syrup mixture.
  • Beat everything with a hand mixer for a while until you get a soft batter.
  • Now, add the grated apple pieces to the batter too.
  • Grease the cake mould and pour the batter.
  • Just sprinkle a few apple cubes over them and bake them in the middle rack for 35-40 minutes.
  • Take the mould out from the oven and let it cool.
  • Sprinkle powdered sugar over the cake and serve it.
