Ingredients

  • 2 cups - All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup - Sugar
  • 200 g - Chocolate bar (broken into pieces)
  • 1 cup - Low-fat cream or yogurt
  • 1/2 cup - Butter (room temperature)
  • 1 tsp - Baking soda
  • 1 tsp - Baking powder
  • 2 tbsp - Flaxseed meal
  • 6 tbsp - Hot water
  • Confectioner's sugar (for dusting)

How to Make Eggless Easy Chocolate Cake

  • Pre-heat the oven to 350 degree F. Beat the butter, sugar until they turn smooth.
  • Meanwhile, sieve the flour with baking soda and baking powder and keep aside.
  • Mix the flaxseed meal in the hot water and make a thick paste and keep aside.
  • Now, add the low-fat cream to the smooth butter-sugar mixture and beat for a while.
  • Melt the chocolate pieces in a microwave oven with a tablespoon of water.
  • Now, add the flaxseed paste and melted chocolate, and whisk everything well.
  • Gradually add the sieved flour and stir it with a spatula. Don't whisk.
  • Pour this cake batter in a greased round mould and bake for 20-25 minutes in a middle rack until the skewer inserted comes out clean.
  • Dust the cake while serving.
