  • 125 g - butter
  • 1 cup - caster sugar
  • 1 cup - water
  • 1.5 cup - self raising flour
  • 1/3 cup - cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp - bicarbonate of soda

How to Make Eggless Microwave Chocolate Cake

  • Grease a 23 cm dish. Combine butter, sugar and water in a large bowl
  • Cook on high for 4 mins in the microwave.
  • Cool to room temperature.
  • Sift dry ingredients into butter mixture, beat with wooden spoon until smooth.
  • Pour mixture into prepared dish, cook on high for approximately 10-12 mins or until firm
  • Stand 5 mins before turning onto wire rack to cool
  • Sift a little dry icing sugar on top
