  • 1 cup - Whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup - Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp - Salt
  • 1/4 cup - Sliced almonds
  • 1/2 tsp - Cardamom powder (coarsely powdered)
  • 1/2 cup - Butter (room temperature)
  • Milk as required

How to Make Eggless Whole Wheat Almond Cookies

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • In a bowl mix the flour, sugar, salt, sliced almonds and cardamom powder well with your fingers.
  • Add the butter and milk to the flour mixture to make a soft dough.
  • Divide the dough into 20-22 equal parts and make them into balls and flatten each ball between both palms.
  • Place the flattened ball in a baking sheet leaving some space between each cookie.
  • Bake the cookies for about 18 minutes or until cookies are lightly golden brown in colour.
  • Let the cookies cool down for two to three minutes before taking them off the cookie sheet.
  • Serve with coffee or tea.
