Ingredients

  • 1 cup - whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup - all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tbsp. - baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp - salt
  • 250 ml - milk (approx.)
  • 3 tbsp. - sugar
  • 3 tbsp. - butter, melted
  • honey for serving

How to Make Eggless Wholewheat Waffles

  • In a mixing bowl, mix wheat flour, all-purpose flour, salt, baking powder and sugar.
  • Add in the milk and whip well. The batter should not be runny; it should be thick, so adjust milk accordingly.
  • Now add in some melted butter and stir well.
  • Set aside batter for 5 mins.
  • Now, heat your waffle maker till it gets smoky. Brush/spray with some oil.
  • Pour some batter into the maker and close it. Cook it according to the instructions on the waffle maker (approx. 4 to 5 mins). Keep a close watch to check that it does not char.
  • Remove carefully and place on a plate.
  • Drizzle as much honey or maple syrup as you like and serve.
