  • 1 cup - fresh leaves/methi washed and chopped finely
  • 4 - potatoes, peeled and cut into quarters
  • 1 tsp - cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1 tsp - chopped ginger
  • 1 tsp - chopped garlic
  • 2 - whole red dry chillies
  • 3 - green chillies, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp - oil
  • salt to taste

How to Make Fenugreek Leaves (Methi) And Potatoes

  • Heat oil in a suitable pan and add cumin seeds, ginger, garlic, red chillies and green chillies and fry for a few minutes.
  • Add the potatoes, fenugreek leaves, coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt and mix well.
  • Add sufficient water and cook covered on low heat till the potatoes are cooked and all the water dries up.
  • Serve as a side dish with rice or chapattis or rotis.
