Ingredients

  • Tuvar dal -1 cup
  • Rice -3 cups
  • Red chillies -3
  • Hing - a pinch
  • Butter - 25 gms
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil to fry

How to Make Festive Ribbon Pakoda

  • Soak tuvar dal and rice overnight.
  • The next day, grind them finely without water.
  • Mix all the ingredients together to get a stiff dough.
  • Heat oil in a shallow pan. Put some dough into the ribbon pakoda mould and squeeze out directly on the oil carefully.
  • Fry till it turns a golden brown and remove.
  • Drain out on a tissue paper and store in an airtight container when cool.
