A lip-smacking, cheesy bread that is very popular and a crowd favourite - Fiesta Cheese Bread. Cheese Bread is a sort of a cross between garlic bread and pizza. It is a great option for breakfast as well as a healthy meal especially during rushed hours. Simple to make, these cheesy breads will make you drool, for sure. 

Make a dough with milk and biscuit mix. Assemble some ingredients on top of the bread - tomato slices, sour cream, mayonnaise, cheese and onion. Sprinkle with paprika and bake for 20-25 minutes.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups biscuit mix
  • 2/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp. butter, melted
  • 3 to 4 tomatoes, sliced
  • Salt and seasoned pepper
  • 1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • ½ tsp. paprika

How to Make Fiesta Cheese Bread

  • Preheat oven. Combine milk with biscuit mix, stir to form a soft dough. Knead a few times on a floured board.
  • Roll into a rectangle and fit into a greased pan. Push dough up side of pan to make a slight rim and brush with butter.
  • Arrange tomato slices in rows over dough, salt and pepper. Combine sour cream with mayonnaise, cheese and onion.
  • Spoon evenly over tomatoes. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes till done.
