Ingredients

  • Fish slices - 1/2 kg
  • Onions - 1.5 cup, chopped
  • Green chillies - 6, chopped
  • Ginger - 2 cm, chopped
  • Garlic - 1 pod, chopped
  • Chilli powder - 3 tsp or to taste
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Oil - 4 to 6 tbsp
  • Cold idlis - 10 to 12
  • Coriander leaves - 2 to 3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Fish and Idly Scramble

  • Steam the fish with salt and 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • | Cool and remove bones and flake the fish
  • Add chilli powder, turmeric and salt if necessary and mix well
  • Heat oil in a pan and saute the onions until pink
  • Add the green chillies, ginger and garlic and fry well
  • Now add the fish and fry for about 2-3 minutes
  • Crumble the idlis and add to the fish mixture
  • Stir on low flame for 1 min
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
