  • Dry Red Chillies – 200 grams
  • Coriander Seeds – 100 grams
  • Turmeric Stick – 10 grams
  • Black Pepper Corns – 50 grams
  • Dried Ginger (Chukku) – 50 grams
  • Jeera (Cumin Seeds) – 1 tbsp
  • Fenugreek Seeds – 1 tbsp
  • Dried Curry Leaves – ¼ cup

How to Make Fish Curry Powder Recipe

  • Dry roast each ingredient at a time on a medium warm skillet till you get the warm aroma.
  • This process enables the ingredients to release there essential oils and also act as a preservative.
  • Each ingredient has a different burning point, thus be watchful not to burn else it will turn bitter and spoil the end result.
  • Grind in batches. Sieve and grind again if required. This repetition will give you the best results of a fine powder. Mix well.
  • Label and store in air tight containers.
  • Use as required in the recipe.
