Ingredients

  • Fish - 1/2 kg
  • Fenugreek leaves - few
  • Coriander leaves - few
  • 6 - garlic flakes
  • 1/2 inch piece - ginger
  • 4 - green chillies
  • 1/2 tsp -turmeric
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • Salt as per taste
  • 3 - tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp - oil
  • Fish.

How to Make Fish in Methi and Garlic

  • Marinate the fish with salt and turmeric and put it aside for 1/2 an hour.
  • Fry the fish until golden brown.
  • Chop fenugreek as well as coriander leaves and grind them along with garlic, ginger and green chillies.
  • Heat little oil in the pan and then add the ground paste and cook it lightly on low flame.
  • Now add turmeric and coriander powder as well as some salt and cook it on low flame for few more minutes.
  • Then add finely chopped tomatoes and cook it until ghee separates.
  • Now add fried fish and cook for a few minutes more.
  • Finally, add jeera and elaichi powder before serving.
