Ingredients

  • cooked flaked fish - 1 cup
  • cooked rice - 3 cup
  • coriander leaves - 2 tbsp
  • oil or Ghee - 4 tbsp
  • cloves - 2
  • cinnamon (3 cm) - 2 pieces
  • black pepper corns - 1/2 tsp, crushed
  • onion - 1/2 cup, chopped finely
  • garlic - 2 tsp, minced
  • green chillies 3, sliced
  • salt to taste

How to Make Fish Kichidi

  • Heat oil or Ghee in a pan and add cloves, cinnamon and pepper.
  • Fry for few seconds.
  • Add onion, garlic and green chillies and fry till fragrant.
  • Add rice, fish and salt.
  • Mix well and keep covered on a low flame till heated through.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot.
