Ingredients

  • 2 kg - maida
  • 400 g - onions, chopped
  • 200 g - potatoes, boiled
  • 200 g - carrot, boiled
  • 200 g - Peas, boiled
  • oil/butter
  • For green chutney:
  • 2 bunches - Coriander leaves
  • 6 - green chillies
  • 1 tsp - jeera
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 - Lemon juice
  • A pinch - sugar
  • For tamarind date chutney:
  • 500 g - Dates
  • 1 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 5 to 6 - Tamarind
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Frankie and Green Chutney

  • Mix maida with water and a little salt to make a dough. Keep it aside for 1/2 an hour. Prepare rotis from it.
  • Prepare a mixture of potatoes, peas and carrots. Add salt to it.
  • Take a serving plate, place rotis on it. In the middle of the roti, put the mixture and then add onions.
  • Pour green and tamarind chutneys on it.
  • Fold it from both the sides.
  • Put butter/ oil on a pan. Put frankie on it and cook it till it turns brown on both sides.
  • Serve it hot with chutney or sauce.
