  • 8 - slices of bread
  • 2 - eggs, beaten
  • 1.5 cups - milk
  • 1/4 cup - plain flour (maida)
  • 3 tbsp - powdered sugar (as per taste)
  • 1 tsp - cinnamon
  • 1 tsp - vanilla essence
  • 2 tbsp - butter (for frying)

How to Make French Toast

  • In a bowl, put the flour. Slowly add the milk, stirring continuously. Mix it well
  • Add cinnamon powder, beaten eggs, vanilla essence and powdered sugar.
  • Blend it well.
  • Heat a griddle and spread a little butter over it (approx 1/2 tbsp for each toast).
  • Dip each bread slice and put it on the griddle.
  • Let it cook till golden brown (approx 2-3 min).
  • Turn it around and let the other side also cook.
  • Remove from fire and serve with maple syrup.
  • Do the other toast in the same manner using butter as needed.
