Ingredients

  • 200gm - Fried channa dal
  • 4 Green chillies
  • 2 tbsp - Desiccated coconut /fresh grated coconut
  • 1/4 tsp - Jeera
  • 1/2 tsp -Tamarind paste (or 1tsp lime juice)
  • 3 Cloves of garlic (peeled)
  • Salt
  • 2tsp - Chopped, coriander
  • For tempering: 1tsp - Oil 1/4 -Mustard seeds
  • 6 Curry patta leaves
  • 1tsp - Urad dal Red chilli (broken into pieces)

How to Make Fried channa dal chutney

  • Mix all ingredients for chutney and grind to a fine paste.
  • Prepare tempering and pour this over chutney. Mix well and serve.
  • Can be served with dosa/ idli/ pongal/ upma.
