Ingredients

  • 250 g - boneless chicken pieces
  • 1 - large potato
  • 1 - medium onion
  • 1/2 cup - grated coconut
  • 4 - green chillies
  • 2 tsp - ginger, grated
  • 8 - garlic cloves
  • 2 strands - curry leaves
  • 1 tsp - garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 2 - eggs
  • Salt, to taste
  • Oil, for frying

How to Make Fried Chicken Cutlet

  • Cook the chicken pieces with little water and salt, cool and blend it without adding any water using a blender or mixie.
  • Pressure cook the potatoes and mash it well
  • Cut the onion, garlic cloves and green chillies into very thin and small pieces.
  • In a pan heat a tbsp oil and fry the onion with curry leaves, garlic, ginger and green chilli pieces for 10 min.
  • Add the coconut and fry the mixture till it turns to brown. Then add the chilli powder, garam masala and turmeric powder.
  • When the mixture cools, add the blended chicken and mashed potato and mix well with required amount of salt. Shape into round flat cutlets.
  • Beat the eggs well using an egg beater. Dip the cutlets into this and deep fry in oil.
