Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb - Green beans, cut into 1 inch long pieces (you can substitute frozen french cut beans)
  • 1/2 block Tofu, crumbled
  • 1/4 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1/4 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 3 to 4 - cloves garlic
  • 1/2 tsp - grated Ginger
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Fried Green Beans with Tofu

  • Fry mustard seeds in hot oil till they crackle.
  • Add garlic and ginger followed by turmeric. Fry for a few seconds. Add beans and stir fry till cooked, but still a bit crisp.
  • Add tofu, gently stir. Add salt to taste. Can be served with Rice or Rotis.
