Ingredients

  • 1 cup - basmati rice
  • 1 - onion, medium sized
  • 1 small piece - ginger
  • 2 slices - bread
  • 4 tbsp - ghee
  • 2 - cardamom
  • 2 - cloves
  • 1 - carrot
  • 2 - chilli
  • pepper powder
  • 1 tbsp - tomato sauce
  • cashew nuts
  • 1 tbsp - soya sauce
  • 1/2 cup- fresh peas
  • kismis
  • 1-beans
  • 3 cardamoms
  • 1-bread slice

How to Make Fried Rice with Vegetables and Soy Sauce

  • Pour 4 tbsp of ghee/oil in a kadai and put cardamoms and cloves.
  • After it gets roasted (1 min) add 1 cup of rice into it and saute it until it is non sticky.
  • Now add 2 cups of water and cook the rice. Add salt.
  • Take a kadai and saute 1 big onion and 2 chillies.
  • When it becomes transparent, add ginger-garlic paste and saute it.
  • Now add chopped carrots, beans, carrots, peas, and saute well.
  • While cooking add a pinch of sugar also to it so that the colour of the peas will be retained.
  • Add 1 tbsp of soya sauce, 1 tbsp of tomato sauce, and saute it for 1 minute and add the cooked rice.
  • Add bread crotons to this mixture.
  • Decorate with fried kismis and cashews, and coriander leaves
  • For bread crotons:
  • Take a slice of bread and cut it horizontally and vertically so that you get square cubes.
  • Deep fry it in hot oil until it comes to a golden to brown colour.
