Ingredients

  • 10-12 - dried Kokum
  • 2-3 glasses - water (or as needed)
  • 1 tbsp - Sugar
  • A pinch - hing
  • 2 - crushed garlic cloves
  • 1 - chopped chilli
  • 1/2 tsp - cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp - Cilantro / coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Futi kadhi - Goan sol kadhi without coconut milk

  • Soak kokum in 2 glasses of water for 3 hours. Strain and discard the pulp.
  • Add the sugar, salt, and hing. Mix till the sugar is dissolved.
  • Add the crushed garlic, chopped chillies and coriander leaves.
  • Add water if needed and adjust salt and spices to taste.
  • Serve chilled.
