Ingredients

  • 1/4 kg - tomatoes
  • 1 tsp - cumin-pepper powder
  • 3-4 - garlic flakes
  • 2 - green chillies
  • 1 tsp - chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp - curry leaves
  • 1 tsp - oil
  • 1/2 tsp - mustard
  • 1/2 tsp - methi

How to Make Garam Tomato Rasam

  • Grind tomatoes and filter the paste.
  • Add cumin-pepper powder, chopped green chillies and garlic to the strained tomato juice.
  • Bring to a boil and add salt.
  • Heat oil and season with mustard and methi seeds.
  • Garnish with coriander and curry leaves.
  • This goes well with hot steamed rice and potato fry.
