Ingredients

  • Chicken - 1 medium
  • Onions, medium - 4-5
  • Ginger - 2 inch
  • Garlic- 20 cloves
  • Whole red chillies - 4-5
  • Black peppercorn - 10
  • Cloves - 3
  • Green cardamoms - 4
  • 1 - black cardamom
  • Cinnamon - small stick
  • Bay leaves - 2
  • Salt and oil - As required
  • Green coriander leaves - 1/2 bunch

How to Make Garlic Chicken Stew

  • Chop onions and finely chop ginger and garlic. Break whole red chillies into small pieces.
  • Take a pressure cooker and put in chicken pieces along with all the other ingredients except coriander leaves.
  • Now add oil and salt.
  • Close the lid and open it after one whistle.
  • Cook open till the oil separates.
  • Add finely chopped coriander leaves.
  • Cook for two more minutes.
